Love Chapel Food -  September is the month for Memorial to purchase food for Love Chapel. We will be buying the food on Saturday Sept. 4^th. If you would like to help get the items and deliver them to Love Chapel, please meet at Aldi’s at 1:00 on the 4^th.  We have collected $985.00 as of Sunday the 22^nd.  If you have any questions, please contact Bill Witkemper.  Thank you for supporting our food purchase for Love Chapel.  

Support Our Pregnancy Care Center – Mark your calendar for this opportunity to contribute to the ministries of the Pregnancy Care Center (PCC). Their annual Walk for Life is on Saturday, September 18.  Pledge forms are available in the office on the Secretary’s desk.   

Family Cook Out – Monday August 30 – 6:30 – 8:00 PM at Tim and  Kelli Hoeflinger’s for 3^rd – 5^th graders and families. Please bring lawn chairs and  a side dish to share.  The  Hoeflinger’s will provide hot dogs, buns and drinks .  The address is  2771 S.  900 E.  Columbus.  Please RSVP to Tim or Kelli by Sunday, August 29^th.  Come and have fun, food and fellowship!!!  Any questions contact Tim at 376-6800 or email at wallaby 45@yahoo.com.

Sweet Life Café Leadership Training Meeting – will be held on this Sunday August 29, following the “Yak – N- Snak”.  We will be having lunch and meeting in the Fellowship Hall and hopefully wrap it up by 2:00 p.m.  Any questions, see Missy Collins.

ABM – There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board for donated pies for the Flatrock Association ABM meeting that will     be held on Tuesday September 14.  Any  questions, see Larry, Jim, Ken Miller, Ben Beasley or Charlie Surber.

Tim’s Day Off – will be on Mondays beginning after Labor Day instead of Thursdays. If you need to reach him on Mondays leave a message at the church or email him. 

Sweet Life Café  Women’s One-Day Retreat.  Saturday October 9, 2010 – 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. here at MBC.  Cost is $20.  Registration begins on August 29. 

Craft Day – will meet from 9:00 – 3:00 on September 11, October 30, November 20 and December 11.  Please bring a snack to share. 

Sunday School Celebration – Today (a fifth Sunday) we will once again gather in the fellowship hall during the Sunday School hour for a “Yak-N-Snak.”  Join us as we get to know each other a bit better and as we celebrate what God has done through our summer Sunday School

SIC – will meet on Sunday September 12 at 5:00 p.m.  We are shifting the date due to Labor Day.
